The Kyiv Post is now trying to confirm the reports.
The attacker, who had reportedly swum to the resort from a public beach nearby, was immediately detained by the police, the report said. It is not yet known why he attacked the tourists.
The wounded tourists were sent to a hospital for treatment.
Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry didn’t immediately confirm the reports, saying on Twitter that Ukraine’s consul in Egypt was checking the information.
