Luanda - The environmentalist Vladimir Russo Saturday in Luanda called for the need to increase the investment in the tasks focussed on research, conservation and protection of biodiversity in Angola.
Russo made the appeal while speaking to Angop, calling for greater supervision and protection of national parks in order to avoid poaching of animals, some of which are endangered.
The environmentalist who recognised the lack of support in terms of biodiversity, urged for the need to train more supervisors and undertake actions in the schools to teach the children on good practices.
On the other hand, he spoke of the need to engage in environmental research studies, to better understand and preserve the nature and scientific education through an integrated knowledge.
