This was confirmed Wednesday by Mozambican expert, Jonas Zucule, adding that Mozambique National Institute of Meteorology will seize the opportunity during the regional Forum of SADC.
Speaking to journalists, on the sidelines of the 23rd SADC Regional Climate Forum in Luanda, Jonas Zucule described the event as extremely important for all members of the region, noting that the initiative will allow sharing experiences and information.
He spoke of the enormous human and material losses caused by the natural disaster, in which Beira city bore the brunt of the phenomenon.
The expert said that this opportunity will allow him to speak on how the early warning service operates, a very useful tool for disaster prevention.
