The coordinator of the Angolan media library network and secretary of state for the sector, Pedro Sebastião Teta, considered these units as "knowledge shoppings", spaces in which all citizens should participate and share knowledge.

He indicated the academic community and the creators of the arts as potential beneficiaries of the varied range of services offered by media libraries, from multimedia, cybers, libraries, conference and leisure rooms, among others.

"The media houses have a vast bibliographic and digital collection that the institutes of higher education need to benefit, enjoy and share", in the sense that this investment serves the Angolans and contributes to the improvement of the quality of education in the country.
