Maria Sambo, new minister of Higher Education
Luanda - Maria do Rosário Bragança Sambo, currently the Principal of the state-owned Agostinho Neto University (UAN), was Thursday appointed by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.

Maria do Rosário Sambo, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation
Maria Sambo got a graduation in Medicine in 1983 from the UAN’s Medicine Faculty.
In 1997 she specialised in Neurology at the Neurology Service of the Egas Moniz Hospital (Lisbon - Portugal) and the Portuguese Medical Association.
The newly appointed minister of Higher Education also has a PhD in Genetics Medicine since 2010.
