Angola collects indicators on Science, Technology
Luanda - The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology and Innovation will launch, within three weeks, a campaign to collect indicators from these sectors.

The incumbent minister, Maria do Rosário Sambo, announced this Wednesday at a seminar on indicators of Science, Technology and Innovation.
She said that the campaign is aimed at attaining the national policy goals.
The move is part of National Development Programme (NDP) 2018-2022 and the SADC Strategy of Mediation of Science, Technology and Innovation.
She quoted the Presidential Decree of 201/11 of 20 July, saying that it provides for collection of indicators of Science, Technology and Innovation in order for the Executive monitor this activity.
In her speech, Maria Sambo urged the actors and partners to produce more scientific contents to reach a percentage of GDP dedicated to science, unlike the current 0.07, equivalent between USD12million and USD 14 million.
