Inacom, partners create dialogue platform
Luanda- Angolan Institute of Communications (INACOM), the operators and consumer associations decided Thursday in Luanda to create a dialogue platform.

The decision followed a meeting the INACOM held with the partners, aimed at listening to consumer associations and operators to discuss cross-cutting issues, including the need to improve communication aspects.
Inacom CEO, Leonel Augusto, who was speaking to the press at the end of the meeting, said the parties agreed to meet every three month.
He said that the objective is to collect from consumers' associations their major concerns and from operators, solutions for consumers.
As for the tariff/price updates, due to come into force next month of October, Leonel said the mobile phone services decided to keep the 100 utts in the value of AKz 1000.
In the case of TV operators by surface and fibers, the official said the prices increase from 23 to 26percent, respectively.
He said that macroeconomic situation forced the operators to submitted the process to update the prices of some services.
Among the factors mentioned, stress goes to the devaluation of the exchange, as the 80% of the payment for services is made from abroad.
" The adjustment of prices was determined by the Price Committee integrated by representatives from the Ministries of Finance, Telecommunications, after having found that the sustainability of the companies was in danger.
The meeting gathered representatives of Unitel, Movicel, Inadec, Addic, Tv Cabo, Dstv and Zap.
