Two Ethiopian runners in Luanda for yearend race

Luanda – Two Ethiopian athletes Bonsa Dida Direba (male) and Almaz Ayana Eba (female) arrived Monday night, in Luanda, to compete at the 55th edition of the end of the year race dubbed Saint Sylvester 2010.
The chairman of the Angolan Athletics Federation, Carlos Rosa, gave the information to ANGOP, stating that the flight connection between Addis Ababa and Luanda helped in the early arrival of the two athletes.
According to Carlos Rosa, the Kenyans Josphap Kiprono Menjo (world champion of 10, 000 metres) and the Greek Momany (winner of the previous three editions, 2007, 2008 and 2009), that will run for Kabuscorp Sport Club do Palanca (Angola) are expected to arrived this Tuesday.
The rest of the guests for this event should arrive in the Angolan capital city on Wednesday.
The competition, to happen on Friday in Luanda, begins at 05:30 pm in Mutamba square, and finishes in Coqueiros stadium after a 10-kilometer footrace around town.
