Petro de Luanda ladies win Babacar Fall Cup in handball

Luanda – The senior females handball team of Petro de Luanda on Wednesday won the 15th edition of the African Super Cup called “Babacar Fall”.
The Angolan ladies beat the GSP of Algeria by 27-18, a game that took place in
Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
Still in Burkina Faso, Petro de Luanda will defend, as from Friday, the African champions club title. In males category Angola will be represented by Interclube.
Petro de Luanda, in group A, will play on Friday against Rombo Sport from Côte d’Ivoire. On Saturday the Angolans will face the Asfa-Y of Burkina Faso, then on 12th April will close the group stage with the FAP team from Cameroon.
