Country through to final of 'Angola Avante' football tournament
Angola managed to go through to the final of the fourth edition of the inter-community football tournament dubbed 'Angola Avante', after defeating Brazil last Sunday in Inatel stadium, in Lisbon (Portugal), by 1-0, a game for the third round of the event.

Angolan team participating in the "Angola Avante" tournament
The Angolan team, winners of the 2011 edition, now have the opportunity to recover the title lost in the last edition to São Tomé e Príncipe. This year, the São Toméan team were eliminated by Guinea-Bissau by 1-4.
In the other semi-final Cape Verde defeated Guinea-Bissau by 2-0, however not enough for the pass to the next stage, since the former needed to win the game for more than two goals difference.
Meanwhile, Cape Verde have presented a protest, alleging wrong interpretation of the regulations, thus the other finalist will only be found after a decision has been taken regarding the complaint.
The “Angola Avante” tournament had the participation of Angola, Brazil, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau and São Tomé e Príncipe.
