Luanda – The Angolan international footballer, Guilherme Afonso, now playing for Angola’s first division 1º de Agosto team, has pledged to show commitment to his new club, aimed at helping the squad materialize their objectives in the national first division football championship (Girabola2013).
Speaking at his presentation ceremony, the striker, who was playing for FC Vaduz of Liechtenstein, said he has found appropriate conditions to fight for the title, so he will commit himself to helping 1º de Agosto win the championship.
“1º de Agosto is a club that gathers conditions to dispute the title and I want to make my contribution, so I’ve accepted the proposal and I’ll work with the squad to win”, he emphasised.
1º de Agosto occupy the second position of Girabola with 30 points.
