Speaking about the projects of football development in the province, the governor said that it is not enough to want to compete in the national first division championship (Girabola) without a good organisation.
To him, there is nothing consolidated which allows the province to remain in the first division championship, due to various difficulties, including management incapacity.
The football club of Atlético do Namibe was relegated to the second division championship in 2013.
The Independente do Tômbwa had already competed in the national first division championship.
The province is not going to be represented by any team in 2014 football season.
