Basketball: ASA and Interclube open BIC Basket championship

Luanda - ASA and Interclube will face each other on 21 November, in the biggest game of the first round of the national senior men’s basketball championship, now dubbed “BIC Basket”.

According to the draw held on Monday in Luanda, the inaugural round also includes the following fixtures: 1º de Agosto - Casa Pessoal do Porto do Lobito, Libolo - Progresso do Sambizanga, Universidade Lusíadas - Sporting de Cabinda, Vila Clotilde - Petro de Luanda.

The competition will comprise two phases, regular and the final stage, based on FIBA rules, exception for the usual 12 minutes in four quarters.

Recreativo do Libolo are title holders of the event.
