Progresso end first stage of second division basketball championship unbeaten

Cuito - Progresso do Sambizanga ended the first stage of the second division senior males national basketball championship, which is happening in Cuito City, central Bié Province, after managing to get six consecutive wins.

The first stage of the championship, which will end on Saturday, was disputed in the all-against-all system in two legs.

The Progresso team lead the championship with 12 points, whereas Marinha de Luanda and Casa Pessoal do Lobito occupy the second and third position, respectively with nine and eight points.
