Basketball: Victorino Cunha tournament turns international
Luanda - The 6th edition of the Victorino Cunha basketball tournament has become an international competition and is for the first time taking place at Luanda’s Cidadela main pavilion from October 13-18 with five teams.

Presented on Wednesday in Luanda at a press conference, the event will have the participation of local 1º de Agosto, Petro de Luanda, Interclube, Atlético Sport Aviação (ASA) and the US God University.
According to a source, the only foreign attending team is expected in Luanda on Sunday.
The Source said the participation of the US team is a test and might be extended to other countries, should this experience be successful.
All along, the competition has been held at Victorino Cunha pavilion, but this year it will be taking place at Cidadela, for more comfort for spectators.
