Rowing: Angola qualifies for 2016 Olympic Games
Luanda - Angolan athletes André Matias and Jean-Luc Rasamoelina of the Luanda Clube Naval qualified for 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Angop has learned.

Angolan Rowing team qualify for Rio 2016 Olympics

This is contained in note released by Angolan Federation of Nautical Sports, stressing the duo qualified during the event taking place in Tunis, Tunisia.
The Angolan rowers competed in double light weight (LM2X) tournament, for athletes with an average weight of less than 70kg.
Eleven, of the twenty-one countries competing in the event, qualified directly for Olympic Games.
In addition to rowing, other categories that qualified for Rio 2016 Olympics are those of swimming (Pedro Pinotes) and women's handball.
