Handball: Federation confirms 14 teams for senior championships
Luanda - Seven women teams and the same number in the men category will compete on 14-26 June in the 37th national senior handball championships, to take place in Luanda’s Cidadela pavilion, Angop learnt from a federative source.

The event will be presented on Wednesday and the technical meeting will take place on June 13, on the premises of the Angolan Handball Federation (FAAND).
According to the source, the competition will count on the participation of the women teams of ASA, Casa do Pessoal do Porto do Lobito, Marinha de Guerra, Progresso do Sambizanga, Electro do Lobito, Petro de Luanda and 1º de Agosto (title holders).
In men’s category, the event will count on the presence of 1º de Agosto (title holders), Petro de Luanda, Interclube, Marinha de Guerra, Progresso da Lunda Sul, Misto de Cabinda and Comité Desportivo do Exército.
