Football: Vice champions in Benguela for preparation games

Luanda - Petro de Luanda Football team, the national Girabola runners up, is holding a training camp as from 7 to 23 January in Benguela city, where they will play four preparation games.

According to the club's soccer director, Sidónio Malamba, who was speaking to  journalists  Thursday at the end of the first field session, the group leave for Benguela on January 7 and have the first game  set for 13 January , still with an opponent to be confirmed, while on the 17th,they  will play with  Académica do Lobito.

The following games will be with Sagrada Esperança of Lunda Norte, on the 21st and the fourth and last game on 22 January is still without an opponent.

In the 2017 football season, Petro de Luanda, who finished second in Girabola and won the Angolan Cup, also held their pre-season training camp in Benguela.
