The coach was speaking to  Angop in reaction to the draw held on Sunday, stressing that in theory, Moroccans, as a result of their history and investment, will be the main opponent in games against Angolans.

According to him, Moroccan players surprised many in the last Afrobasket having lost in the quarter-finals to Tunisia after overtime.

On the other hand, Manuel da Silva reassured saying that they are within the reach of the African runners-up. We know them very well, we're going to work in order to beat them," said the coach.

He also referred to the Central African Republic (CAR), according to him, who are known by their history in the continent and in the clashes with Angola, in particular.

Angola shares the group B alongside Morocco, Uganda and CAR, with headquarters in Dakar (Senegal).
