The government official made this statement during the opening of the training cycle of sports agents and monitors of the eastern region of the country, noting that the measure aims to meet the requirements of the management of the Sports sector.
According to Carlos Almeida, the training actions will only have real impact if the graduates are able to disseminate everything they learn, by promoting and encouraging the practice of sport in communities and schools.
"A sustainable country is only an effect with a focus on quality training at all levels, hence the need for our ministry to choose the training of agents, monitors and others, to respond to the challenges of mass sports," he said.
During the training, which lasts six days, the 72 participants will be trained in training management matters, sports legislation, and sport ethics, among others.
