Kenyan athlete wins Year-end race of Luanda
Luanda - Kenyan Mokua Nyandusi won the 63rd edition of Luanda's "São Silvestre" end-of-year race on Monday with a time of 30 minutes and 20 seconds.

The second place was Testudo Mosisa, from Ethiopia, with a time of 31 minutes and 15 seconds.
The Angolan Alexandre João, of Interclube, was the third classified. he timed in 10 kilometers the time of 35 minutes and 53 seconds.
The following two positions were also occupied by national athletes, namely Luis Kuvingua of Interclube (32:13) and Rafael Epesse, of 1º de Agosto (32:19).
The women's catergory of this annual event was won by Beyanesh Ayele of Ethiopia in 33 minutes and 56 seconds.
Interclube's Angolan Adelaide Machado was ranked second (36:42), followed by Lúcia Gomes, Cuanza Sul (37:15) and Ernestina Paulino, Interclube (37:20).
The Kenyan Nyabera Gesare was ranked fifth (37:34).

Luanda - Mokua Nyandusi last Monday became the seventh Kenyan athlete to win the Luanda's yearend ten-kilometre race dubbed "Saint Silvester Road Race", by timing 30 minutes and 20 seconds.

Luanda - The number of athletes registered for the 2018 yearend competition, dubbed Saint Silvester Road Race, is higher than last year’s, specifically 300 racers more, making up a total of two thousand registered contestants.
