U-17 World Cup: National team return to Luanda

Luanda - Angola's National soccer team arrived Friday in the country's capital, Luanda, coming from Brazil where they were eliminated from the 2019 FIFA Under-17 World Cup following 0-1 defeat to South Korea in the Round of 16.

In their first participation in the competition, Palanquinhas (National Team) beat New Zealand 2-1 and Canada 2-1.

But the team conceded two defeats 0-2 to Brazil, in the group stage, and 0-1 to South Korea, in "knockout".

The team comprises Geovani, Cambila,Valente (goalkeepers), Gege, Pablo, Afonso, Domingos, Tino, Mimo, Porfírio (Defenders), Pedro, Manilson, Maestro, Beni, Netinho, Nelinho (midfielders), David, Capita, Zito Luvumbo, Zini and Abdul (forwards).
