Luanda - Angolan coach Filipe Cruz will sign a two year contract late November with the Democratic Republic of Congo handball Federation to lead this country's senior men's team.

Filipe Cruz confirmed this to Angop on Thursday, stressing that he is free and has no link to the Angolan Federation of Handball (FAAND).
The coach, who was originally supposed to lead the senior men's national team to the African Championship on 15- 24 January in Tunisia, has confessed to have only link to the 1º de Agosto.
The coach Filipe Cruz will train the DRC's new team ahead of the 2020 continental event.
He said that he had received attractive work proposal, but did not give further details on the subject.
In the last African Championship, held in Gabon in 2018, the DRC finished in fifth place.
