Angolan Kiriana Neto becomes world champion
Luanda - The seven-year-old Angolan Kiriana Neto was named the Jiu-Jitsu World Champion in the children's category on her debut at the Abu Dhabi event in the United Arab Emirates.

The athlete, who represents the Escola Luneto Power Gym, defeated the Brazilian Márcia Mascarenhas.
As for the win, Angola’s Vice President of the Republic, Bornito de Sousa, wrote on his Twitter page: Congratulations, "little" Great Kiriana Neto, world jiu-jitsu champion!
Kiriana is described as a very committed and disciplined athlete. Since winning the African championship on March 3, 2019, she has been ready for the world championship.
Sponsored by the oil company “Sonangol”, Kiriana is the daughter of the pilot and businessman Iuri Neto and the Angolan singer Nsoki Neto.
Kiriana Neto also became African champion last March.
Still in the same category, Angola won Saturday bronze medal, through the athlete Kuamy Manuel, in representation of Escola Matilha B.JJ, after beating Ivan Shevchuk of Sibirsky Bars, Russia.
