CAN / Under-17: Angola lose to Nigeria

Luanda - The Under-17 national football team lost on Wednesday to Nigeria, by 0-1, in the match of the second round of group A of the African Cup of Nations, which takes place in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania.

The only goal of the match was scored by Segun, on 20 minutes, on penalty, to punish infringement of the national team defender Gege.

Gege was expelled from the match at 52 minutes by accumulation of yellow cards.

Last Sunday, on the opening day, Angola defeated Uganda by 1-0 and Nigeria defeated Tanzania by 5-4.

With two wins, Nigeria automatically qualifies for the semi-finals and the World Cup, due to take place as from 17 September to 8 October, according to radio 5.
