Roller Hockey: Angola debut with Spain in Montreux
Luanda - The Angolan national team face Spain at 3 pm (Angola time) on Wednesday April 17, in a debut game of the 68th edition of the Montreux international tournament, in roller hockey, to be played as from 17 to 21 April in Switzerland.

According to the schedule of the competition to which Angop had access on Tuesday (17), the national team in group A, will play again on April 18 against Portugal at 7pm for the second round, and on the 19th with the host Switzerland, for the 3rd round at 3 pm.
The national team is already in Geneva in transit to Montreux, stage of the event, after a pre-competitive stage in Portugal, where they held two preparation games, one of which beat Sanjoanenseo by 11-5.
The tournament, also known as the Nations Cup, is part of Angola's preparations for the World Cup, taking place as from July 7 to 17 in Spain.
Angola has participated in this event since 1982. The best classification ever happened in 2009, where they ranked in fourth place, with the Spanish coach Miquel Umbert Riera.
The top two in each group will play in the semi-finals, while the third and fourth qualifiers play in the rankings from 5th to 8th place.
