Nery 3rd top scorer of Montreux Tournament

Luanda - Anderson Silva "Nery" scored six goals and was the third top scorer in the 68th edition of the International Roller Hockey Tournament, which ended Sunday in Montreux, Switzerland.

Angolans among top scorers in Montreux

Luanda's Académica hockey player prevailed in Angola's unprecedented 4th place in an event in which they have prepared to participate in the World Championship next July in Barcelona, Spain.

The top scorer was Argentina's Lucas Odnez player with nine goals, followed by Davide Banini of Italy with seven.

With six goals scored the list is comprised by Players Matias Casa (Spain), Gonçalo Alves (Portugal) and Francesco Compagno (Italy).

The list of 28 players includes other Angolans, Martin Payero (8th place) with five goals and André Centeno (18th) with three.

The tournament was won by Portugal, followed by Argentina and Italy. Angola ranked 4th, France (5th), Spain (6th), Montreux HC (7th) and Switzerland (8th).
