Sports minister points to "Presidential Golf Day" gains
Luanda - Angolan minister of Youth and Sports Ana Paula do Sacramento Neto Saturday in Luanda said that the "Presidential Golf Day" tournament could have influence on development of the sport and tourism in the country.

Minister of sports delivers award - Presidential Golf Day

The minister was speaking to the press, on the fringes of the award ceremony of the competition, launched by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, in Barra do Kwanza.
The minister stressed the importance of the sport saying that it serves as an incentive for the athletes, potential tourists and investors.
"From this first edition, in a joint work of the Ministry of Hotel and Tourism as well as other partners, the necessary foundations are laid to move this important tourism vehicle ahead, she said.
In this competition the Portuguese João Baptista ranked first with 43 points followed by Angolan António Avelino (40).
While the South Korea’s Kabar Sensong came third with 39 points, in competition that brought together more than 50 athletes from the Southern Africa Development Countries (SADC).
Also participated in the completion representatives from UK, Japan, South Korea and Turkey, ahead of the World Tourism Forum going from 23- 25 this month in Luanda.
