Football: Home-based players miss national team’s call up
Luanda - Football players of Angola’s domestic championship missed Sunday concentration meeting addressed by the Angolan Football Federation (FAF) ahead of the match with Eswatini for the CHAN 2020, Angop has learnt.

Tehnical team of national soccer squad
Only members of the FAF and technical staff of the national team led by the Serbian coach Srdjan Vasiljevic were present in the spot where the meeting was supposed to take place.
ANGOP learnt from a source of the FAF that the domestic teams receive the call up in due time for this commitment of the national football team, following the squad’s participation in the Africa Cup of Nations, in Egypt.
The absence of players of the domestic championship ahead of CHAN (meant for players of domestic competitions),was due some difficulties few teams had to release their players, while others suggested rule out their players over an alleged tiredness faced by the athletes following their participation in the Africa Cup of Nations.
The players expected to join the national team to take part in the CHAN are:
Goalkeepers- Tony Cabaça, Lando e Ndulo (defenders) - Isaac, Mira, Dany Massunguna, Wilson Gaspar, Simão, Jó, Paizo e Tó Carneiro (midfielders) - Herenilson, Macaia, Almeida, Edi Afonso e Ito (forwards) – Das Faa, Kashi, Zito, Manguchi, Dany, Vá, Mano Caleso, Nelson Luz, Mateus, Yano, Mabululo e Chico.
