Basketball: Valdelício returns to Petro de Luanda

Luanda - The Angolan power forward, Valdelício Joaquim, who played for Argentina’s Atlético Obras Sanitarias de la Nación last season, has signed a two-year contract with Angola’s Petro de Luanda basketball team.

Basketball: Valdelício returns to Petro de Luanda

The player had some years back joined Petro de Luanda but in 2014 left the club and joined Angola’s Recreativo do Libolo from 2014 to 2017.

In this sportive season, Petro de Luanda will take part in the national championship, Angola League Cup, Vladmiro Romero Super Cup, Africa Ball League and in an international tournament in Maputo, Mozambique.

Valdelício Joaquim, who is 29 years old and 2.08 metres tall, 111 kg of weight, won one gold and two silver medals with the country’s national basketball team.
