Adapted athletics: Huambo and Luanda win national
Luanda - With 18 gold, eight silver and three bronze medals, Huambo province, in men category, won the XX National Adapted Athletics Championship, while Luanda took the trophy in women, with four gold, three silver and two bronze medals.

Overall, Huambo won 39 medals, including the three gold, two silver and five bronze medals from the women category, which, however, missed the podium in a competition held Friday and Saturday at Coqueiros Stadium.
In the men category, Luanda got the 2nd position with nine gold, three silver and two bronze medals, totaling 23 medals with the women's sector.
The third position in men's went to Huila (five gold, four silver and three bronze), while the province of Benguela got the second place in women's (four gold, one silver and one bronze).
Namibe occupied the third position in women's (three gold, four silver and three bronze).
The men from Huambo thus won the seventh consecutive trophy, outperforming the various classes of disabilities, notably the triumphs of José Chamoleia in the 100 m (time 11 seconds and 82 tenths) and 400 m (55 seconds and 63 m) for class T11, total blindness.

Luanda - The national football amputee team is an example of overcoming physical disabilities, by winning two trophies in this kind of sport, namely the recently finished African Nations Cup of this category, held in Angola’s centre-west Benguela Province, and the world cup (Mexico2018), the minister of Sports Ana Paula do Sacramento Neto, considered last Monday, in Luanda.
