Foreign minister meets with Sport Lisboa, Benfica official
Luanda - Angolan Foreign Affairs minister Manuel Augusto received this week in Luanda the president of Sport Lisboa and Benfica Luis Filipe Vieira, who has been in Angola for a few-day visit at the invitation by the "Fundação Prosperar" (Prosperity Foundation).

The meeting focused on the strengthening of cooperation between the Angolan authorities and the Portuguese club, as part of cultural diplomacy.
The Benfica official is leading a eight-member delegation, with stress to Pedro Mantorras (former Angolan international) and Luisão (Brazilian).
At the meeting, the minister Manuel Augusto thanked the club for their commitment to reinforce the “Benfica's nest” in Angola, urging other Portuguese clubs to do the same.
He also took advantage of informing the leader of Benfica de Lisboa on the main changes in the political, economic and social fields
underway in the country, as well as the business opportunities for foreign investors.
In turn, Luís Filipe Vieira briefly talked about the club's projects to be implemented in Angola, stressing that he was pleased to know that the club have many supporters in the country.

Luanda - Assessment of the activities of the first half of 2018, analysis of the state of infrastructures, Anti-doping Law proposal, among others, are included in the agenda of the 11th Broad Consultative Council of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, which takes place Tuesday, at INFORFIP's facilities, in the municipality of Cacuaco, in Luanda.
