Among the absent players there is the team’s top scorer left out due to injury, while five other players have been ruled out of the squad due to accumulated yellow cards.

Speaking in a pre-match press conference, Desportivo da Huila head coach Mário Soares said he is confident in a good match, despite recognizing that the void left by the six players will be crucial on the pitch.

Desportivo da Huíla are currently fourth placed with 34 points, while Petro de Luanda lead the championship with 50 points.
