Sunday was a memorable day for the team. After a 2-0 victory at home in Bonfim Stadium, against Belenenses, with goals from Jubal Rocha and Bruno Pires, Vitoria de Setubal stamped their stay in the also called "Liga Nos".
With this score, the team reached 34 points, qualifying in 16th position.

The tournament was won by FC Porto with 82 points, against 77 from Sport Lisboa e Benfica, in second position.
Involved in bad results, Lito Vidigal guided the team in the last four rounds, being the fourth coach in the 2019/20 season. Sandro Mendes was between the first and eighth round, Albert Meyong between the ninth and 11th, and Júlio Velázquez did it between the 12th and 29th round.
