JICA to open branch in Luanda

Luanda – A branch of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will be open Friday in Luanda with the aim to strenghten social, economic and political relations between the government of Japan and Angola.
A press note issued by the Japanese embassy here states that JICA was founded in 1974 as a technical cooperation agency under the supervision of the Japanese government.
The branch will have as representative the engineer Hiroshi Sato, an expert on projects planning.
