Luanda – A brand new Boeing 777-300ER airplane will be delivered to Angola Airlines (TAAG) on June 14 this year by the manufacturer, Angop learned Thursday in Luanda.
The information was released by a Boeing source that said the manufacturing company is completing delivery arrangements in Everett, Washington DC.
According to the source, the preparations for the delivery include painting and testing of the equipment and systems.
The airplane is the first of its model being purchased by TAAG, but a second such equipment will be delivered to Angola a month later.
Meanwhile, TAAG is making arrangements to purchase another two Boeing 777-300 aircraft on equal terms.
Currently, TAAG has been operating three Boeing 777-200ER airplanes on the Lisbon, Beijing, Dubai, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Johannesburg routes, while four Boeings 737-700 cover domestic and regional destinations.
