Washington – The state-owned Angolan Air Transport Company TAAG on Friday, in Washington, signed contracts for the acquisition of two new Boeings 777-300ER, at the value of 375,463 million US dollars, to be paid in different instalments.
The contract was signed in the ambit of the commercial agreement approved on 05 October 2009.
In view of this, an Angolan delegation is in Washington, USA, since June 8, led by the CEO of TAAG, Pimentel Araújo, and comprising representatives from the Finance Ministry, Civil Aviation National Institute (INAVIC), and the public Insurance Company (ENSA).
The delegation also signed some financing agreements with some partners, such as with IONALLC, which is the institution that has been created to take care of the aircrafts while the financing lasts, the PFECO, Private Export Corporation, and the US EximBank.
