For this effect, great investments are expected to take place in the sectors of hotels and tourism aimed at transforming N’Zeto Municipality into a reference tourism place, with a view to attracting more and more tourists.

Last weekend ANGOP went on a tour of the municipality which enabled to see that many of tourism infrastructures are crumbling and others on the way of degradation.

ANGOP also noticed that the city’s hotels and restaurants are very few and offer poor quality services.

According to the hotel manager Mateus Gomes, the municipality needs serious investments in this sector, with a view to creating more jobs for the youth, as well as generating wealth and income.

He reminded that N’Zeto is a compulsory stopover place for those travelling from Luanda (country’s capital) to Zaire by road transport. However, he was confident that better days are to come for the municipality, considering the policies of tourism boost drafted by the Angolan Executive.

N’Zeto’s population is estimated at 45.000 people. Its main tourism attractions are the “Mouth of M’Bridge River”, “Mbangamwana Falls” and “Kikando beach”, among others.
