State secretary announces creation of course of Aquaculture

Huambo - The State secretary for Aquaculture, Zacaria Sambeny, announced Wednesday, in central Huambo province, the creation of an aquaculture course so that this practice can be made with environmentally sustainable and accountability in relation to the diversification of the economy.

Speaking to the press at the end of the visit to (Lagoa do Ekumbue), Alto-Hama commune, municipality of Londuimbali, the official assured that negotiations are underway with the Ministry of Higher Education to allow insertion of the mentioned course.

The official stressed that the Ministry of Agriculture has proposed the lecturing of the course at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the José Eduardo dos Santos University, based in Huambo province.

The State secretary stressed that Lagoa do Ekumbue, located in Alto Hama commune, has the potential to create fish with all sorts of modern mechanisms.
