Huíla: Cuvelai peasants foresee good harvest

Matala - The regularity of rainfall observed in Cuvelai locality, southern Huila province, satisfies the peasants of the region, as it permits to achieve good agricultural output, said to Angop on Friday, municipal administrator od Matala, Samuel Marcolino .

According to him, this agricultural year promises good crop, which encourages peasants and administrative authorities of Matala.

He stressed that the corn, millet, sorghum, beans and other crops grown in the locality, as well as the cattle have a look of vitality and guarantees hope and trust to peasants.

Cuvelai is 25 kilometers away of the municipal chieft town of Matala and has a population estimated at 20.000 inhabitants.
