Speaking to Angop, the official said that despite the awareness done in schools, markets, public and private institutions, the inflow of taxpayers is still unsatisfactory.
He acknowledged there is little dissemination of information and clarification of the doubts in the interpretation of the IPU and the importance of referred payment.
He explained that the settlement of the IPU is simple and covers households with above cost of five million Kwanzas, exempting low values with that figure.
Cassange António informed that the property registered to pay the IPU follows a 0.5 percent rate that can be paid in two installments.
He clarified that the tax is important in the progress of the economy, therefore, urged house owners to register their homes until February 29, the deadline for the process.
