Bengo: Business people urged to join "Angola Investe" programme
Caxito - The provincial governor of Bengo, João Bernardo de Miranda, called on Thursday in Caxito for the business people and small entrepreneurs based in this region to join the "Angola Investe" programme so as to boost the economic projects that contribute to improve the local economy.

João Miranda said so at the opening of the first provincial seminar of "Angola Investe" programme, promoted by the government, stressing that the project offers opportunities for entrepreneurs to create micro, medium and small companies, thus generating jobs for young people.
He stressed that in Bengo province, the findings made on the ground until the month of December 2015, the “Angola Investe” programme approved 19 projects, this number only 11 are deployed in the region, the rest does not work in the province and even the banks themselves do not know the whereabouts of those who received the credit.
He called on bankers to be more responsive and vigilant especially those who received credit and cannot repay, to oblige them to do so, because only then they can grant credits to other interested parties.
The “Angola Investe”, established in September 2012, has the financial support of 22 Angolan commercial banks, with the aim of creating a strong national business class, through the Programme of Support to Micro, Small and Medium Companies.
