Lunda Sul: People urged to invest in agriculture
Saurimo - The population of the locality of Mona-Quimbundo, northeastern Lunda Norte province, was encouraged by the local governor to invest in agriculture to contribute to fight famine and poverty in the region.

Governor Cândida Narciso was speaking in Mona-Quimbundo, some 54 kilometres east of northeastern Lunda Norte province capital (Saurimo).
She was laying the foundation stone for the construction of the Technical Agrarian School in the locality.
The governor appealed to local peasants to continue increasing agricultural production in the region to improve the living of the families.
Cândida Narciso said Mona-Quimbundo has a great potential to produce food and people should take advantage of this fact to help diversify the cultures.
According to her, Lunda Sul Government will continue assisting the local peasants with equipment to increase production and ensure the success of agriculture in the region.

Saurimo - The construction works of the regional building of the Angolan Geological Institute (IGEO), as part of the National Geology Plan (PLANAGEO), which began in December 2014, is scheduled to end in late February of this year, reported on Wednesday in Saurimo, eastern Lunda Sul province, the project supervisor, Hélder Cambolo.
