Angola: TAAG to acquire new Boeing aircrafts by April

According to the manager, one of the aircrafts will arrive in the country in March and another in April to strengthen the airline's fleet of Angola flag and increase frequencies in Lisbon and Havana routes.
At that time, according to the source, the company has five 737 aircrafts that operate domestic and regional routes and six aircrafts 777 that operate at international routes to Havana (Cuba), Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Lisbon (Portugal).
The executive director, who was speaking on the Talk Show "Janela Aberta" of the Angolan Public Television ( TPA) when addressing the issue of "Transport and mobility in the country", also announced the increased frequencies to the regions of Catumbela (Benguela), Cabinda and Lubango (Huila) as from April.
He also reported that the company's intention is to capture new sources of traffic and tourism would be one of them through the domestic and international tourism promotion.
"We are hopeful to raise the standards of services so that we can raise the market share", he said.
