Bié: Over Usd 250,000 invested in apiculture
Cuito - At least Usd 254.000 will be invested over the next three years in beekeeping projects in the country, under a Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) Programme.

The information was released Wednesday in Cuito, central Bié province, by the national coordinator for capacity building project of the Ministry of Agriculture, Laurinda Fernando Paim,
Speaking to Angop, the official said the amount will be used in the training of beekeepers in techniques to secure and increase honey production.
The amount will also be invested in food security projects, control of plants, animal and crops plagues. The project is underway since January, 2016.
