The official was speaking in the localities of Camana and Sanga, Cahombo municipality, 135 kilometers north of Malanje city, during the opening of the 2015/2016 agricultural season.

Norberto dos Santos said that peasants, united in associations, should increase production to improve their living condition and boost the national economy.

On the occasion, the head of the association of Muandango peasants, Albino Joao, stated that agriculture in that locality is of small scale.

On the other hand 1,4 hectares of land are being prepared this year to increase the production of cassava.
