Angolan delegation off to 55th Air traffic controllers session
Lisbon - An Angolan delegation left Luanda Saturday for Las Vegas, United States of America, to attend the 55th annual session of the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers Associations (IFATCA).

Headed by the Angolan Air Controllers Association chairman, Nuno Kakumba Francisco, the delegation will at the meeting raise matters concerning the promotion of safety, efficiency and international air navigation regularity.
In this edition, the air traffic controllers will look into reports, and debate about the challenges and relevant aspects related to the Ifatca national associations.
The week-long international event being held for the first time in the United States of America, will bring together members from its four regions, namely Africa/ Middle East, Americas, Asia/Pacific and Europe.

Luanda - The Ministry of Transport, through the National Civil Aviation Institute (Inavic) and Angola Airlines (TAAG), signed an operational and business agreement on November 26 in Dubai, thus, establishing a strategic partnership between the companies.

The Angolan Airlines (TAAG) started over the last weekend its second regular direct flight between Luanda and Beijing and intends to launch the third in 2014, corresponding to the increase of relations between Angola and China.
