Huila: Farming project integrates community in productive activity
Matala - The farming project dubbed “Fazenda Tandanda”, in Camanongue locality, in the southern Huila Province, is having a positive socioeconomic impact on the region with the integration of local communities in productive activities, ANGOP has learnt.

The owner of the project, Henriques Carriço, has explained that at a moment that the country is facing an economic and financial crisis, the project has already employed over thirty people.
Speaking to the press, several citizens confirmed that this investment has been bringing about social and economic improvements in the region, since many families are being supported by the farm with agricultural products, such as maize flour.
The “Fazenda Tandanda” farming project occupies an area of 4,700 hectares, and it is already producing about 200,000 tons of maize per year.
