Egg production to rise to one billion
Luanda - Angola will produce one billion eggs until next year, as part of the Government’s development programme.

This was announced Thursday in Luanda by the minister of Agriculture, Afonso Pedro Canga.
The minister was speaking at the end of the 5th session of the Cabinet Council’s Economy and Real Economy commissions, presided over by the head of State José Eduardo dos Santos.
According to the minister, the intention is to reduce the import of eggs.
The session of the Cabinet Council’s Economy and Real Economy commissions analysed, among other issues, the state of implementation of the programmes of the agriculture, fisheries and industry sectors.
