Government to expropriate underused farmlands
Humpata - The owners of underused agricultural lands will lose them through expropriation measures to people with capacity to explore the lands and generate wealth.

Huila: Joao Marcelino Tyipinge, Governor of huila province
This was said last Friday in the municipality of Humpata, southern Huila Province by the governor Marcelino Tyipinge.
The governor who was speaking to journalists at the end of a visit made to the agricultural area of the municipality, where he announced also that this measure comes into force immediately.
This measure comes due to the fact that the number of abandoned plots is high and increases every year throughout Huíla Province.
The governor added that the measure is aimed to find farmers who seriously want to invest on the cultivation of vegetables and cereals in large scale, to strengthen the diet of families and to diversify the economy.
